Mizzou Fans Named Interim Classiest Fans in the Country
In a stunning Big 12 turnaround, one of the Big 12’s biggest rivalries (MU vs. KU) has lead to Missouri Tiger Fans being named the interim “Classiest Fans in the Country.” After the Tigers win over the Jayhawks last weekend, the Big 12 was pleased to see very little taunting and almost no fistfights after the game was complete.
“We had a few incidents, but in many cases, fans of both teams left in the SAME VEHICLE on their way home,” said one Big 12 Spokesperson. “There were even cases of fans of the opposing teams being family members.”
The title of Classiest fans was rescinded from the Nebraska Cornhusker faithful after a year that tested many a person’s mettle. After boosters began to pull their money, fans booed at games, coaches lives were verbally threatened, and fair weather fans jumped off the bandwagon, we found out that many Husker fans are just like everyone else in the country. The return of Dr. Tom Osborne is likely to snap many to their senses, leaving the rest of us with common sense to breath a sigh of relief.
Now that Callahan’s bad attitude is out the door, expect the Classiest Fans title to return sometime soon. The next few years success on the field and off-field behavior will bring improvement with each season.
